Christian Formation
The Christian Formation Commission ensures the smooth integration of "Learning God's Word" into its activities and the broader activities of the parish. The commission endeavors to raise children who have a strong faith in God and who are active members of a worshiping community. We believe that faith is not taught as much as it is caught. We believe that faith is passed on by putting people in touch with others who are active believers.

The Education Commission is responsible for the church's Christian Formation, Sunday School, Milestones- Program, Nursery, Vacation Bible School, and other related Christian Education Activities. The responsibilities of the commission are split among to two committees.
Christian Formation Committee
The Christian Formation Committee is responsible for educating parish members on the Bible and the Word of God. Christian Formation is conducted Sundays at 9:15 a.m. (between the 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. servcies). Sunday School for youngsters (Preschool - Grade 5 ) is held on Sundays for the Fall, Winter and Spring terms at 10:00a.m. along with Nursery services (young parishoners then join the congregation for Communion). Youth Group program participants (Grades 6- 12) are encouraged to participate in Youth Group meetings at 10:00 a.m. and join the congregation for church services.

Youth Committee: Disciples for Christ
The Youth Committee, headed by the Youth Minister, is responsible for the education of the parish's adolescent youth (Grades 6 -12). This committee oversees the Disciples for Christ (DfC) Youth Ministry, a Sunday School curriculum designed specifically for teens, as well as other Youth groups and activities.
The Youth committee holds classes most Sundays for the Fall, Winter, and Spring terms at 9:15 and then join the congregation for church services. The committee also hosts a variety of fun and exciting youth events throughout the year.
