These are inspiring words from perhaps the greatest leader of the Evangelical Revival in the colonies of the eighteenth century; It is great to know we can still do all this in our own zip code and through the whole world!
Mission
The Commission’s mission is primarily to help expand the size of our congregation. We design ways to make our Parish better known in the community and we try to make visitors to Transfiguration feel welcome and included, especially during Sunday worship. We strive to develop ways in which new members can be incorporated into Parish life. Evangelism efforts are closely coordinated with other Commissions as we work together to promote Parish events and activities throughout the community.
We utilize resources such as local gazettes, door-to-door fliers and emphasis is being placed on increasing our presence on the World Wide Web.
